The Casaware Trio 12oz/350ML Tea Travel Mug is the perfect item for the person who loves their loose leaf tea. The tumbler is double wall vacuum insulated and will keep drinks hot or cold for up to six hours. It is a stainless steel tumbler that is BPA Free. The Trio Travel Mug has a patented two-way leaf compartment build inside of the lid, allowing it to be used for both loose leaf tea and other infused beverages. The tumbler has a lock button on the lid so you can travel with it and be confident that the beverage will not leak. You will find many ways to use this multi-functional tumbler for your favorite drinks.
To steep loose leaf tea, first twist off the lid and turn it upside down. Add the tea leaves to the compartment under the flap, close and snap the filter shut. Pour hot water into the tumbler, being careful not to fill above the lowest thread. Attach the lid to the tumbler and secure it tightly. Turn the tumbler upside down and start the brewing process, allowing the steeping time to vary based on the type of tea used. When brewed, turn the tumbler back to its normal position and open by pushing in the lowest part of the lock button. You can drink directly from the tumbler or pour the tea into your favorite mug.
Alternatively, you can twist off the lid, put the tea leaves directly in the tumbler, and add hot water. Move the tea flap to the position covering the drinking hole and snap it shut. Secure the lid and turn the tumbler upside down, allowing it to steep for the appropriate time. When brewed, return the tumbler to its upright position and open by pushing the lowest part of the lock button.
